Buy This Book!

castlebook
A few months ago, I'd printed some cards for the lovely Karima at Castle in the Air, in Berkeley.
They were lovely illustrations from a book that she and her husband had created—THIS book (!) which has been finished. There are two versions—a hardcover book and a softcover book. Both have been letterpress printed by my friend, Richard, and handbound by yours truly.
A true collaboration and they are now available on Castle in the Air's new website!

Keep Calm and Carry On

Photobucket

I love these posters that Victoria at sfgirlbybay creates.
They are reproductions of a popular poster used during World War II, in England.

I feel like the past few weeks have been pretty heavy for many people—the economic ups and downs coupled with the upcoming Presidential election make for a stressful time.
How are you all coping with it?
All is well here, but I have found myself doing a constant laundry list of friends and family and even slight acquaintances, worried about how they're all faring right now. I've been saying the above in my head, so I guess it's only fitting that I go to her shop and buy one.

{And thank you to my sweet friends who responded to my previous post!}

Hear Me

Hello All,
Just a little experiment here. In my pull between work and blog-time (we know what wins), my current, probably not so original thinking is, "Hmmm... does anyone read this?".
I get notes from people in reference to things I've written, but not so much on the comments-part. Shall I sweeten the pot a bit? I know keeping up with it is helpful, but could you be so kind as to leave a note here? I'll make it worth your while. Happy Monday.
